Recently, Toyota has officially unveiled its brand new SUV named as the Toyota Rush. The SUV has been launched in the biggest market of SUV, Indonesia. The SUV design is based on Daihatsu FT Concept.
As per the report, 2018 Toyota Rush SUV comes with an upgraded engine and 2NR-VE, 4 Cylinder Dual VVT-i petrol engine. The engine produces 104 PS at 6,000 rpm and 136 Nm of torque at 4,200 rpm. The SUV comes with two gearbox options. In one option it will come with a five-speed manual transmission, and in another option, it will come with a four-speed automatic transmission.
It gives 220mm of ground clearance which will be good for bad rough road and small flooding. If compared with the HONDA BR-V, it has 201mm of ground clearance. The width of the SUV is 1695 mm. It is 4435 mm long. It comes with 2685 mm wheelbase. The new 2018 SUV Rush comes with standard but upgraded equipment and gives best lighting and safety features. The new SUV comes with six airbags, enhanced Vehicle Stability Control, upgraded anti-skid braking technology, enhanced Electronic Brake-force Distribution hill start assist, the emergency stop signal and seatbelt indicator for all seats.
The Rush TRD Sportivo features keyless entry, push-button start and a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It supports USB compatibility, radio, CD player and smartphone compatibility via Miracast and Weblink.
As per the report, the company has not informed about the price yet. Its price will be revealed in January 2018. The company also has not given any information about its entry in the Indian market.
