Both the bikes have the equal two-cylinder engine of 853cc. The previous model, i.e., BMW F700 GS and BMW F800 GS had 798cc engine. These two bikes were unveiled at Eicma Motorcycle show held in Milan.

As the two bikes come with more engine capacity, the bikes will also give more power. With the 853cc engine, now the BMW F750 will give 77hp at 7,500 rpm, previously it was 75hp. In the case for the BMW F850, the power has been increased to 95hp at 8,250 rpm from 85hp.

The riders will get two standard drive modes with these two bikes, i.e., Rain and Road along with Dynamic and Endure modes. Both the bikes have the new fork, the F850 GS has an upside-down 43mm fork, and the F750 has a right-way-up 41mm fork. Along with this, the bikes have a double-sided aluminum swingarm and shock and also come with suspension adjustment feature called ESA electronic suspension adjustment. The bikes also have a TFT connectivity screen.

Another major highlight of these bikes, both the bikes have BMW’s intelligence emergency call function. If it faces an accident or crash, it can automatically call for the help. To provide more stability to the bikes, the company has repositioned the fuel tank.

BMW said “Even more so than their predecessor models, the new F 750 GS and F 850 GS are targeted squarely at their respective clientele. The F 750 GS is designed for all riders who prefer the sensation and conceptual design of a travel enduro in combination with a low seat height, copious power availability, high cost-effectiveness, and powerful all-around qualities. Opposite this is the new F 850 GS, which besides offering more power and torque, features even more distinctive touring characteristics coupled with supreme offroad ability.”
