BMW Motorrad is now expanding its product line in India. Following this, the company has launched its new bike named the new BMW K 1600 B Bagger. The bike comes with a price tag of Rs. 29 lakh which is the ex-showroom price, Delhi. The Bike shares its underpinnings with the K 1600 GT. The design of the K 1600 B is based on the 101 bagger concept. It will be a Completely Built Unit (CBU). As per the report, its delivery process will start in December.
The New BMW K 1600 B comes with the new tail section, lower sit position and also comes with lowered seat height. It is designed in such a way that it will give more relaxation and comfort to the rider. The bike has an electrical adjustable short widescreen. The storage capacity of the bike will be around 37 liters. The new BMW K 1600 B has a six-cylinder 1649 cc engine. Coming to its power, it produces 160 bhp at 7750 rpm and 175 Nm of peak torque at 5250 rpm. The powerful engine is connected to a 6-speed transmission. There is a 5.7 inch TFT display which gives access to instrument setting. It has company’s made Duolever and Paralever suspension. For breaking it comes with dual floating four piston 320 mm disc on the front and for its rear brake, it has a single 320 mm disc. It has Chrome-plated parallel silencers with ribbed end caps. The bike equips Shift Assistant Pro for shifting up and down without clutch as an ex-works option.
The chassis of the bike features electronically controlled Dynamic ESA. It has two riding mode, one is Road riding, and another is Cruise riding mode. It also comes with high levels of standard equipment like ABS Pro, dynamic brake light, Dynamic Traction Control DTC, xenon headlamp, heated grips and seat heating and multi-controllers.
