Fiat has released a new video teasing its upcoming Linea successor car, Fiat Cronos. The teaser does not reveal much but doe help in adding to the hype that is already surrounding the launch of the Argo based sedan christened Fiat Cronos. The car, codenamed as Fiat X65, will enter production in Argentina before 2017 ends. By early next year, the Brazilian markets are likely to get the sedan.

In the teaser video, one can see the overall silhouette of the Fiat Cronos. The side of the car looks in sharp and well-proportioned. The car also sports sharp headlamp design with daytime running LEDs. The Fiat Cronos will be offered with similar features like the Argo. Fiat is a good example on how the Italians are good at designing a vehicle.

Not much is known about the list of equipments that Fiat will offer with its Cronos but it can be expected that the car will be a derivative of the Argo car. The Fiat Cronos will offer more features than the Argo it is said. The engines are likely to be the 1.3-litre Firefly and 1.8-litre E.torQ flex-fuel engine options. The 1.3 litre Firefly engine will produce 101 cv (101 hp) and 13.7 kgf.m (134.35 Nm) of torque running on petrol. On the other hand, the 1.3 litre engine will produce 109 cv (109 hp) and 14.2 kgf.m (139.25 Nm) of torque when running on ethanol.

Similarly, the bigger 1.8-litre E.torQ flex-fuel engine will produce 135 cv (135 hp) and 18.8 kgf.m (184.37 Nm) of torque running on petrol. On the other hand, it will produce 139 cv (139 hp) and 19.3 kgf.m (189.27 Nm) of torque running on ethanol.
