Indian Motorcycle, the US-based premium motorcycle maker, is all set to launch the Indian Scout Bobber in India on November 24, 2017 at the India Bike Week 2017. The Indian Scout Bobber comes in India about four months after the motorcycle was originally revealed internationally in the month of July this year. As the name suggests, the Scout Bobber is based on the Indian Scout which is already available for sale in India. The Indian Scot Bobber is the darker and the butch version of the cruiser.
The Indian Scout Bobber is already open for bookings for the two-wheeler fans in India at a down payment amount of Rs 50,000. As per the latest report, the Indian Scout Bobber will come at a price tag of around Rs 16 lakh. The bike is powered by the same engine like the India Scout. The Indian Scout Bobber will come in three color options of Red, Thunder Black, Thunder Black Smoke (ABS), Star Silver Smoke and Bronze Smoke.
The 2018 Indian Scout Bobber gets minimal bodywork and comes with a rugged look. The bike retains the retro look like the previous model. The bike comes with blacked-out inserts across the bike instead off the chrome detailing. The Indian Scout Bobber runs on blacked-out wheels with knobby tyres as well. There is also a black headlamp nacelle and vented exhaust shields in the bike. The bike comes with a black speedometer with shorter front and rear fenders. The Indian Scout Bobber 2018 comes with a single leather seat while the fuel tank sports a new badging.
Also, the bike gets new telescopic forks in the front while in the rear side, the suspension has been lowered by 25mm. The Indian Scout Bobber 2018 features a 1131 cc twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 88 bhp and 97.7 Nm of peak torque. The motor in the bike comes paired to a 6-speed gearbox and has no changes over the standard Scout model.
