With this new model of super sport car, Lamborghini aims to deliver most emotional and incredible driving experience.
Automobili Lamborghini unveiling the model informed about the requirements of the third millennium concerning energy storage and innovative materials. To make it possible the company collaborated with two laboratories of the MIT: the “Dinca Research Lab”, led by Prof. Mircea Dinca, Department of Chemistry, and the “Mechanosynthesis Group,” led by Prof. Anastasios John Hart, Department of Mechanical Engineering.
With the collaboration, the company produces the carbon fiber body shell. This will make the vehicle lighter, and the vehicle’s body can be used as an energy storage component. Apart from this, Lamborghini informed that the super sports cars in future might come with self-healing technology and this will help the vehicle to detect any cracks and fault and also repair those automatically with the help of Microchannels healing technology.
