Finally, Land Rover unveiled its brand new luxury SUV. Land Rover revealed the luxury SUV named the Range Rover SVAutobiography at the LA Auto Show.
The luxury SUV comes with some outstanding specifications and has a stunning design. The SVAutobiography model combines peerless craftsmanship and technology. It comes with advanced rear doors that close at the touch of a button and an advanced plug-in petrol-electric powertrain.
The luxury SUV SVAutobiography comes with long-wheelbase and is available with a comprehensive range of powertrain options. It is now available with Rover’s new plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) driveline engine and an uprated 565PS V8 supercharged petrol engine.
Talking more about it, Gerry Mcgovern, Chief Design Officer, Land Rover said “We continue to refine and hone our flagship Range Rover. Highly sophisticated and with a unique combination of British sensibilities, the Range Rover SVAutobiography reinforces Range Rover’s status of peerless excellence.”
The Range Rover SVAutobiography is the first SUV to provide Power Close Rear Doors which allows the passengers to shut the rear doors using convenient buttons fitted on the rear center console.
It comes with 4G WiFi connectivity to work in comfort. Inside the SUV there is concealed refrigerator between the twin rear seats which can carry four 600ml plastic bottles and two glasses easily. There is an exclusive new Zenith clock, inspired by the Elite 6150 watch which is fitted on the rear center console.
The SUV comes with the advanced PHEV powertrain which gives serene refinement with up to 31 miles (51km) of whisper-quiet EV-only range. The chassis has been recalibrated to provide more comfort to the drivers. A unique Land Rover Discovery created for chef and TV personality Jamie Oliver by Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations will also introduce in LA show.
The Range Rover SVAutobiography LWB may enter into India in 2018. The pre-facelift model recently sold in India the price begins at Rs. 2.59 to Rs. 4.62 crore which is the on-road price.
