Qualcomm, the leading chipset maker for smartphones, is now planning to introduce its all-new chipset in the market. As per the report, the company will soon introduce its new chipset named Qualcomm Snapdragon 845. After the introduction of the new chipset in the market, it is expected that all the devices which will be launched in next year will carry the latest Snapdragon 845 chipset. It was expected that the detail about the chipset would be revealed by the end of this year, but now a new report just surfaced online with some details about the Snapdragon 845 chipset.
As per the details revealed online, the company has again proved its ability in the chipset making. Till now, some chipset makers are using 7nm process technology to develop the chipset but moving ahead of this, Qualcomm’s news Snapdragon 845 chipset has developed with 10nm process technology lie its predecessor. Snapdragon 845 use LPÈ. The Snapdragon 845 chipset will be an octa-core processor which is divided into two parts. One part carries four Cortex-A75, and another part carries four Cortex-A53 cores. The chipset will give higher graphics performance, and higher resolution for full-screen display as Qualcomm is also giving Adreno 630 GPU with the Snapdragon 845 chipset.
Many smartphones which are released in this year have multiple cameras set up, and some devices even carry the four cameras set up, i.e., dual front and dual rear camera. Now, the chipset will change the trends and will support more powerful camera configuration. Qualcomm is now developing the chipset which will support dual 25MP front cameras and dual 25MP rear cameras.
Like cameras, the new chipset will offer more upgraded connectivity features. The Snapdragon 845 will come with X20 modem which will support 802.11 and Wi-Fi. It can give download speed of 1.2Gbps.
As per the report, the Snapdragon 845 will come with the Samsung S9 and S9+ which will be launched in 2018. However, it is expected that it few days Qualcomm will reveal more information about its Snapdragon 845 chipset.
