The most awaited bike of TVS Motors, TVS Apache RR 310S, has finally got its Indian release date. As per the report, the TVS Akula 310 model will hit the Indian market in December 2017. Finally, it has given relief to the Indian motorcycling enthusiasts. But the company has not revealed the exact date of launch, but it is expected that it may come around the mid of the month.
As per the information, at the Delhi Auto Expo held in 2016, TVS motors revealed the Akula 310 concept which production version is named as the TVS Apache RR 310 S. With a sporty body structure, the bike comes with the twin-projector headlight and LED tail lamps. It has a large fuel tank. The lower body structure comes with a fin-like shark design and comes with splits seats. Even though the bike has got a sporty look, it will give best riding experience to its riders.
Talking more about its specifications, the new TVS Apache RR 310S may come with 17 inches allow wheels Pirelli Pilot street tyres. On the front I will have the disc brake system on the rear the bike will have floating calipers and dual-channel ABS. With preload adjustable system, the bike will come with upside down forks on the rear and a mono-shock at the rear. It is expected that the bike will give stiff competition to the DSK Benelli 302R, the Kawasaki Ninja 300, and the KTM RC 390.
The power capacity of the bike will be equal to the power of The BMW G310R. The TVS Apache RR 310S will come with a 313cc single-cylinder engine. It also features DOHC, liquid cooled and fuel injected system. It will produce the power of 33.5 BHP at 9,500 RPM and a peak torque of 28 Nm at 7,500 RPM. It is expected that the Apache RR 310S will be priced between Rs. 1.8 lakh to Rs. 2 lakh which will be the ex-showroom price.
